Core Objective


Grow the WP UK SMB e-Comm business from the £49m in annual revenue to £100m in the next 3 years


What you will be doing


Drive the building of a world class, market leading e-commerce solution to make WP the preferred e-Commerce solution provider in the market for customers.


  • Grow e-Commerce sales – by increasing number of merchants using our e-Comm services from new and existing customers.
  • Retain existing customers using our e-Comm services.
  • Expand Value added services associated with e-Commerce and payment services.
  • Manage commercial structures to ensure it is sustainable win-win for all stakeholders: Merchants, Worldpay and Partners.
  • Build organisational momentum and visibility – lead a virtual team to achieve the common goal of winning the e-com segment and generating 25% of all WP SMB revenue from E-Com
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement across the business and functions including Sales, Marketing, Product, Services, Engineering and Partnerships to align to the common goal.


What You Bring


  • Deep expertise in e-commerce solutions or e-commerce payments -with exposure to SaaS solution providers, ISVs, and developer engagement /management or with a payment services company
  • Proven track record in revenue and EBITDA acceleration from e-Commerce and building an effective network with e-commerce solution providers, developers, and ISV/SaaS players.
  • Deep understanding of small and medium business merchant customer segments by verticals, their integration needs and value flows for e-Commerce across shopping carts, ISVs, developers, and direct integrations.
  • Understanding of market and competitive trends and innovations in the market Strong Financial acumen, Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively. Exposure to leading people required.
  • Graduate in any discipline with 8-10 years of work experience
  • Strategic mind set with a bias for execution and strong numeracy skills. Achievement oriented team player who possesses strong influencing skills.
