Location: Newcastle to Edinburgh

Salary: Up to 35k Basic / OTE £55k

The Role:

  • If you are an ambitious, target driven, Business Development Manager with a background in the optical sector, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you We are looking for sales professionals with a proven track record in both managing & growing existing accounts, and building relationships with potential new accounts to sell a range of premium, high end optical lenses into an account base of independent opticians throughout London.
  • Working closely with your account base of independent opticians, you will be responsible for presenting the companies range of premium optical lenses, seeking to promote the use of these over and above any others in the market utilizing your exceptional product & industry knowledge. In addition you will be responsible for training the staff on the products, the technologies behind them, and offer second to none customer service for any queries your customers may have.
  • This is a field based role which will see you regularly out and about with your account base. When you aren't out in front of clients you will be based from home, reaching out to existing and potential new accounts via phone calls, Teams, email and social platforms.


Requirements:

  • Field sales and territory management experience
  • Prior experience having worked in the optical market-either in a sales capacity or within an opticians.
  • You must be well presented, articulate and enthusiastic
  • This role involves a high and realistic OTE so you must be motivated by the opportunity to earn well.
