Sales Director UK&I

Our client, a fast growth, PE backed business, that provides advanced processing and packaging solutions to the Food industry, is looking to appoint a UK&I Sales Director.
Reporting to the CEO and forming an integral part of the exec leadership team, this key hire hire will be instrumental in driving the growth agenda of the business, as it looks to grow its core customer base, whilst looking to diversify and enter into new categories.
Responsibilities -
- Develop and drive business strategy to deliver on the defined business targets across each strategic initiative, including clarity on target customer segments, propositions, go to market strategy
- High level responsibility for development of third-party relationships - identifying new partnerships through gap analysis and in line with the Group’s strategic direction
- Support the MD with development of new and existing business strategies to help drive growth
- Determine how the sales team will need to evolve to deliver on strategy
- Establish strong account management practices to ensure existing accounts nurtured and the business is seen as key partner in processing innovation
- Strengthen the ability to build new key accounts through a combination of technical credibility and strong sales practices
- Provide hands-on support in managing high priority relationships and supporting key commercial negotiations
- Ensure strong reporting and pipeline review management practices are in place, providing transparency to leadership team and board
