Area Sales Manager

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our client’s team as an Area Sales Manager covering the SY and LD postcode areas. They are the leading national specialist floorcovering distributor supplying to the retail sector.
You will inherit a significant customer base of Independent Retailers. The goal over the next few years is to grow business with new and within existing customers, by proactively creating openings to list new products and bring new customers on board.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing your area to deliver sales revenue targets.
- Effective journey planning to maximise daily appointments.
- Building relationships with new and existing customers; advising and influencing them to grow flooring sales for both them and you.
- Cleverly utilising sampling and displays to introduce customers to new products and ranges and drive incremental sales.
- Managing customer pricing quotations and terms to reflect the complexity of products, price points, volumes and credit terms.
