My client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced LEGAL Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Compliance Coordinator.


This firm provides legal services throughout England & Wales – with their client base ranging from some of the world’s largest multi-national corporations to private individuals. They’re a full-service law firm with specialists in multiple practice groups.


Based in their London office, the successful Compliance Coordinator will be providing support to the Head of Compliance and Senior Compliance Advisor. As the successful Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:


  • Assisting with the Lexcel Independent File Reviews and Lexcel Annual Maintenance
  • Performing due diligence checks on new and existing clients/matters
  • Conducting Know Your Client (KYC) checks
  • Conducting AML/CDD at varying levels of complexity, across a range of sectors
  • Analysing conflict search results
  • Maintaining compliance registers
  • Participating in internal audits and compliance reviews
  • Training the wider staff on the firms’ compliance policies and procedures

To be considered for this Compliance Coordinator position, you’ll need to have/be the following:


  • Have strong working knowledge of ‘Lexcel’
  • Have experience using ‘Partner for Windows’
  • Have previous/existing LEGAL Risk & Compliance experience
  • Be degree educated
  • Be able to conduct thorough research
