Our New Business department is where the magic begins, and we’re looking for a talented executive to help us grow even further


About the Role

As a New Business Executive, you will be at the heart of the action. This role is fundamental to the agency’s growth and success, giving you exposure to senior team members and the opportunity to help shape the future of Lucky Generals. You’ll play a key part in making sure we’re always looking our best, getting fully prepared for pitches, showing clients why we’re the perfect partner, and keeping everything running smoothly.


Your north star? Create the luckiest conditions for new business success. Everything you do should help us win new clients and deliver outstanding creative work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Making Sure We’re Always Looking Our Best
  • Social Media & Online Presence: Generate fresh, engaging ideas for LinkedIn and Twitter posts, and maintain our profiles on platforms like CreativeBrief and Little Black Book. Help launch and update our Instagram.
  • Awards: Work with the New Business Director to identify award opportunities, prepare entries, and keep the awards tracker up to date. Celebrate our wins across the agency.
  • Intermediaries: Support relationships with key intermediaries, ensuring our materials and case studies are always up to date. Assist in creating a new agency reel and manage submissions for Agency of the Year or Campaign School Reports.
  • Getting Fully Prepared
  • Research: Prepare background decks on brands, clients, and sectors, including competitor analysis and market trends.
  • Industry News: Monitor Google Alerts and other sources for relevant news to keep pitch teams informed and up-to-date.
  • Meeting Prep: Ensure meeting rooms are set up, IT is working, and the atmosphere is perfect—from branded swag to themed snacks.
  • Showing We’re the Perfect Partner
  • RFIs and Proposals: Collaborate with the MD and New Business Director to draft RFIs and proposals that showcase Lucky Generals’ capabilities. Keep key case studies current and create new ones for standout campaigns.
  • Chemistry Meetings: Help plan and execute chemistry meetings, ensuring presentations are tailored to the client and deliver a memorable experience.
  • Client Meetings: Assist with logistics and creative touches for pitch presentations, from props to bespoke swag.
  • Bios and Headshots: Manage a library of bios and headshots for the agency—ensuring they’re up-to-date and capture the Lucky Generals spirit.
  • Firing on All Cylinders
  • Maintain an annual New Business tracker and ensure folders are tidy and organized.
  • Participate in weekly check-ins with the MD/New Business Director.
  • Stay informed about new business opportunities and industry news, and share updates with the wider team.
  • Contribute to pitches as part of the AM team, particularly for brands or opportunities you’re passionate about.

We’re seeking someone with the perfect mix of organization, creativity, and curiosity. You should be a driving force who embodies the Lucky Generals’ spirit: accountable, entrepreneurial, efficient, and enthusiastic.


Essential Key Skills and Attributes

  • Strong writing skills—able to craft compelling narratives and consolidate research into clear insights.
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, Word, and other office tools.
  • Social media savvy, with a good understanding of platforms and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior managers.
  • Creative and curious, with a hunger to learn and contribute.
  • Solid research and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Desired Experience
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Journalism, Psychology, English, or Theatre).


Any experience in advertising, marketing, or creative industries is a plus.


Bonus: Familiarity with design tools or platforms.
