We believe we are well placed to be the UK’s largest supplier of feature lighting and therefore we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team, initially with a focus on growing our share of the signage & display market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business strategy, with the ability to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the senior management team to align business development activities with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and new market opportunities. Develop strategies to target and engage with these prospects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our offerings.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets. Track and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Utilise this information to enhance business strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals and business presentations to potential clients. Negotiate terms and close deals effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, finance and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and products to clients.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional networks and promote the company.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to senior management.


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
