Position Purpose

In this role, you will oversee and manage the uplift of our Operational Resilience (OpRes) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme within FSI. You will work with the business to ensure that effective, appropriate and compliant BCM practices are adhered to and within risk appetite. This is a crucial role for ensuring that FSI aligns with the requirements set forth by our regulators, clients, customers and insurers. Furthermore, this role will also co-ordinate audit and client requests with respect to continuity and resilience, globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Guide and manage the uplift of our operational resilience programme to a global one. This includes reviewing and enhancing existing policies, procedures, and plans to meet the requirements of a global operational resilience framework.
  • Collaborate with the other teams who support activities underpinning FSI’s resilience and risk posture e.g. Third Party Risk, Cyber & Information Security and IT (including Disaster Recovery)
  • Continuing to mature, develop and deliver key BC artifacts (BIA & BCP) across each of FSI’s regions and businesses.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across different departments and regions to gather input, provide guidance, and foster collaboration. Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and compliance with global standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures that address operational resilience risks and requirements on a global scale. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure these policies and procedures are effectively communicated and understood throughout the organization.
  • Ensure the firm’s Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management programmes align with the provisions outlined in the Digital Operational Resilience Act
  • Prepare regular reports and documentation to track the progress of activities for audit, as well as governance and oversight committees.


Required Capabilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of OpRes and BCM frameworks and regulations, particularly in Central Bank of Ireland, Operational Resilience Guidelines, European Union, Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), Monetary Authority of Singapore, Business Continuity Management Guidelines, Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, Prudential Standard CPS 230 Operational Risk Management
  • Experience in managing and implementing OpRes and BCM programs within the asset management or financial services industry
  • Knowledge of global OpRes and BCM best practices and standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to be self sufficient and motivate initiatives forward
