We are looking for a passionate and resourceful individual who displays strong attention to detail. Success in this role is ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service to our rapidly growing base of retail and wholesale customers, mentoring and managing the activities of the logistics coordinator to handle day-to-day fulfilment and inventory movement transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and consistently look for ways to make our business simpler, more efficient and lower cost.

Strong influencing skills are essential in this role as there will be numerous stakeholders to manage including other functions within the international teams in each market, our manufacturing, warehousing and logistics partners.


Key activities


  • Management of primary UK Supply Chain
  • Manage 3PL warehousing and logistics partners in UK and EU
  • Responsibility for inventory control, including monitoring of stock shelf life, and reporting to the commercial team and Ops executive.
  • Planning and execution of internal stock transfers to downstream warehouses, ensuring optimum stock level and cost efficiency.
  • Responsible for monthly stock reconciliation for all UK 3PL warehouses, ensuring variances are investigated and resolved at month end. Maintain ERP up to date and communicate to the Finance team and Ops executive out of tolerance adjustments.
  • Planning and execution of re-worked stock for Amazon, ensuring optimum inventory holding.
  • Assist in update and execution of a weekly supply and fulfilment model whereby the UK team can manage the warehousing of finished goods, ensure effective management of stock holding of finished goods to maximise sell-through.
  • Supervise and mentor the UK team responsible for order fulfilment (Logistics Coordinator) to retail and wholesale customers, plus Amazon sales.
  • Outbound order issue escalations
  • Supplier cost validation and approval
  • Management of UK Chep pallet account
  • Consistently look for opportunities to measure performance and develop KPIs as cost and performance control measures. Seek out ways and challenge the team to reduce our supply chain and logistics costs and complexity (e.g. order fulfilment, warehousing, packaging procurement)
  • Reporting of waste packaging data to ensure UK regulatory compliance (Including plastic tax reports, waste packaging producer responsibility and EPR) and keeping abreast of any change on regulations.
  • Support the Commercial Team with product information requirements to set up new and customer accounts (New Line Forms, packaging data, etc)
  • Manage set-up of new customers (supported by Ops Executive)
  • In coordination with international marketing and operations executives, project manage launch of new products into the UK market including conception, assessing capabilities/feasibility, cost control measures, demand planning and timeline execution.


Experience and skills

  • Full understanding of how to manage supply chain and logistics end to end.
  • We expect you to demonstrate strong managerial & operational skillsets coupled with good commercial acumen.
  • We expect you to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be able to understand and optimise processes end to end, coordinating with key stakeholders on the commercial side of the business. Typical background

  • Meaningful experience gained in either retail or FMCG environment (experience in a start-up or smaller business would be a strong plus).
  • Progressed through Supply Chain or Logistics function, ideally having started as an analyst. Experience of working within warehousing function strongly preferred.
  • A passionate, energetic and determined nature with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Numerate and analytical.
