CleanCo is the lead independent non-alc brand founded by Spencer Matthews in 2019,. Since launching in November 2019, the brand has grown rapidly from a direct-to-consumer brand to now being listed in all the major UK retailers as well as expansion into the ontrade & wholesale channel. In 2022, the brand launched in the US with major retailers such as Walmart, Bev-mo and Meijer.


CleanCo Operations aims at strategically supporting business growth and delivering value through the execution of supply chain excellence. The Operations team is responsible for all supply chain activity including forecasting and planning, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing and vendor management, inventory management, customer services, logistics and provides technical, quality and new product development support.


The role is full-time with a flexible home/remote working policy. We currently meet circa 1 / 2 days per week in one of the FORA offices in Central London. FORA membership includes FREE Gym access and of course you will have access to unlimited non-alcoholic cocktails.


The role:

The Supply Chain Manager will manage the daily execution of all end-to-end supply chain activities. From manufacturing responsibility incorporating supply & replenishment planning for both finished goods & raw materials, through to customer order management & customer supply. Leading the supply element of S&OP is also a key deliverable of this role. This role concentrates on the UK & US market.


Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop the supply plan, ensuring capabilities are in place to achieve business objectives
  • Manage vendor relationships (ingredients, raw materials, packaging, 3PL’s etc)
  • Oversee outsourced production, ensuring appropriate execution to meet CleanCo product standards and requirements
  • Ensure inventory levels assigned within each part of the supply chain are within target (raw materials, WIP, finished goods etc)
  • Develop and manage operational KPI’s (including cost, service, inventory, waste, forecast accuracy), ensuring successful delivery
  • and taking remedial action as required
  • Manage UK customer orders from receipt through to delivery (circa 25 orders per month)
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, to ensure all operational requirements are delivered (i.e., customer
  • information requests, inventory information, costings, sampling etc)
  • Follow ‘good communication protocol’ to communicate, escalate and resolve any operational issues
  • Manage materials, inventory & purchase / sales orders on our inventory management system (Unleashed)


Experience:

  • University degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years planning experience gained within an FMCG environment
  • Drinks related industry knowledge is a plus
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end operations including planning, sourcing, procurement, distillation, production, quality management and new product development
  • Experience of managing strategic supplier and other third-party relationships
  • Financial acumen and understanding of how operations impact the business P&L
  • Performance oriented to deliver KPI’s
  • Strong analytical skills and the use of Excel and/other tools to manage data
  • Must be able to work in the UK
