Our client is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. There is a fairly even split between risk and compliance responsibilities. Investment management risk or compliance experience would be advantageous and it's essential that you have a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in which the company operates.

The candidate will work closely with other members of the R&C team and will collaborate with colleagues across the business.

Responsibilities Include:

Presenting, developing, managing and maintaining the risk management framework.

Oversight of risks and issues, including independent review, assurance and timely reporting to key stakeholders in relation to the effectiveness of the control environment and compliance with regulatory obligations and requirements.

Coordinate and manage the effective recording, analysis and reporting of incidents.

Contribute to the development of appropriate systems / tools to measure and report on key risk management metrics and support reporting to corporate boards, committees and the SLT where appropriate.

Developing and monitoring key risk indicators for various risks and obligations to measure business performance against risk appetite.

Represent R&C on projects and change initiatives as required.

Assist business stakeholders with design and implementation of operational best practice and process and control improvements.

Experience we are looking for includes:

- 5+ years of experience in a compliance or risk function within an FCA-regulated business, preferably in asset management.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, support strategic goals, and continuously improve processes.
