Corporate Account Manager

As a Corporate Account Manager, you will look after a select group of letting agent, social housing and property intermediary clients. These are key strategic partner accounts for our client – OVO Energy.
The partners use OVO to ease the administration of change over in occupants of the properties that they manage and to ensure that incoming tenants receive low cost and low carbon energy. These are key relationships for OVO because they provide the opportunity to win and retain large volumes of energy supply and to offer occupants their suite of carbon reducing products and services.
OVO supply energy to millions of homes in the UK. They even offer broadband, boiler and heating cover. The group’s purpose is to drive progress towards net zero carbon living. To reach Plan Zero, they need everyone to come together - not just as customers buying energy, but as members with a common goal.
Your duties will include building relationships with strategic property partners as well as seizing new business development opportunities, you will be setting and monitoring volume plans, educating partners on smart meters, increasing the use of Tili (OVO’s digital home move assistant) and managing any issues your portfolio of partners may have.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with B2B strategic housing partners, managing a portfolio of relationships
- Building and communicating growth and account plans to OVO’s Senior Manager of Property Partnerships to help with channel forecasts and budgets
- Creating accurate forecasts for all clients volumes and opportunities (monthly and annually)
- Planning ahead and negotiating to ensure maximum value of each partnership
- Upselling additional products such as broadband and Smart Meters
- Developing meaningful relationships to help renew contracts and create opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities
- Responsible for adhering to regulation and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
This is a key role for the channel and will work alongside the existing sales and account management team. It’s important that you are a self-starter who enjoys senior level communication and are capable of driving account value from relationships and supporting the continuous improvement of the channel.
Ideally you will have:
- Strong sales and relationship management skills and the ability to maximize the value from our partnerships.
- A proven track record in managing high value strategic partnerships at C Suite level
- Good understanding of public/private sector relationship management and ability to manage expectations appropriately.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ability to confidently deliver presentations to individuals and groups at all levels
- 3+ years experience within the energy industry ideally, ideally within the partnerships space.
- An understanding of client and data confidentiality.
Ideally you will be:
- Target driven.
- Digitally minded.
- Commercial astute.
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks at one time.
- A self-starter, confident managing self to deliver high quality work on time.
- Able to manage contract delivery and contractual requirements.
