Pay Rates:

£30.50 - £35.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

Depending on skill and experience


Working Days and Hours:

Our client is looking for a candidate 3 days a week 9 am to 5 pm and these 3 days are to be on-site (22.5 hours per week)

Candidates are likely to need to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday


Job Summary

This post will be responsible for leading the work streams to deliver the TUPE transfer-related work and ensuring that all aspects of the TUPE process run smoothly, including the onboarding of all TUPE staff.

They will also be responsible for conducting essential projects and managing urgent ER cases. You will be providing professional and customer focused advice and support to the Executive Team, Managers and staff in the identification and management of workforce issues.

You will be working at our client who are wholly-owned subsidiary of another client. We provide services to the Trust as well as other clients in the public and private sectors, and all our profits are reinvested back into the Trust.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on a TUPE Transfer
  • Successful onboarding of all TUPE transferred staff
  • Manage urgent ER cases
  • Lead on critical projects
  • Ensure robust employee engagement/involvement; working in partnership with Staff representatives.
  • Provide monthly workforce information to managers, identifying key areas of risk, assisting managers in the interpretation of this data and the implementation of action plans.
  • Advise senior managers on approaches to dealing with complex employee relation situations, providing advice on risks to the organisation of alternative options.
  • Provide timely and expert advice to line managers on employment law issues e.g. TUPE, employment protection and discrimination.
  • Ensure HR policies are applied consistently across the organisation and that good HR practice and statute is maintained.
  • Provide specialist advice on complex queries involving terms and conditions and the application of employment legislation, codes of practice and HPL policy to ensure the organisation meets its legal obligations e.g. working time regulations.
  • Develop strong networks internally and externally to ensure best practice is applied within HPL


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Preferred experience in the NHS
  • Previous experience of having fully supported TUPE process from start to finish
  • Knowledge of regulation and legislation around TUPE transfers
  • Project management skills
  • Experience of managing complex employee relations issues
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of working with HR systems and data analysis
  • Knowledge of pensions
  • Conflict resolution and change management skills


Qualifications:

Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development postgraduate Diploma in HR Management (Level 7) or equivalent HR or management qualification
