As a Product Manager within our Office Cluster for our flagship platform LSEG Workspace, you will be responsible for our Excel and PowerPoint offering that are central to our clients' workflow s and directly influence the end user experience. Reporting directly to the Cluster Product Lead (Office), you will provide product leadership and direction for one or more squads made up of technology engineers, business analysts & UX designers.
You will be responsible for helping define and execute the product strategy to enhance the LSEG End User experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver innovative solutions that streamline customer workflows and improve customer satisfaction.
You will be encouraged to take ownership of tasks and combined with a flat organisational structure, will provide you with numerous opportunities to interact with senior leaders and the ability to make a noticeable contribution to the team and the platform.
What you'll be doing
- Product Manager for one or more squads within our Workspace Office Cluster, focusing on improving our portfolio of Excel and PowerPoint capabilities central to all our user workflows.
- Frequently reviewing a high volume of client enhancements requests within a tight timeline, decisively incorporating these into the product roadmap, whilst working with support and account teams to ensure clients are kept up to date with the status of their requests.
- Collaborate with Workspace platform and Workflows community teams to prioritise and develop product features to drive engagement.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by the product engineering team.
- Drive the execution of all product development processes, including product research, UX prototypes, roadmaps, requirements development and product launch in conjunction with product management leadership.
- Facilitate or participate in all agile ceremonies with the product engineering team, i.e., daily scrums, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and look ahead meetings.
- Ensure alignment of all work undertaking to achieve the agreed OKRs.
- Define and track KPIs, usage analytics, and user feedback to address opportunities to remove friction and increase user activity on the platform.
- Builds effective relationships to ensure the success of the project.
- Effectively communicates highly complex ideas at multiple organisational levels and modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance.
- 5 years+ of experience in a Product Management role within financial services, particularly in trading, wealth management or asset management.
- Experience with product management of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience of working in large matrix organisation.
- Experience of building large scale client facing platforms and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work rapidly in assessing enhancements and resolving incidents.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive personalisation initiatives.
- Familiarity with implementing A/B testing & feedback mechanisms.
- Working with senior stakeholders in technology, product and business.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work across different functions e.g. architecture, product teams, data scientists, proposition teams and project managers
- Previous experience working with agile / scrum.
- Previous experience with JIRA/ADO/Figma
