About the job:

Our Managed Services function manages and maintains the solutions we deliver to our customers, provides functional and technical support, handles business partnering activities and ensures data security and compliance. As a lead you will strategically build and drive our go-to-market strategy to facilitate business growth. Overseeing managed services, you will form strategic partnerships and capitalise on upsell opportunities while ensuring continuous improvement and building a strong, commercially-focused team. You will be a key player in shaping the future of Managed Services at VantagePoint.


What will you be doing?


  • Owning and driving VantagePoint’s managed services go-to-market strategy
  • Responsible for managing the growth of the business unit in line with the company strategy
  • Working with the leadership of the business to ensure continuous improvement of the managed services department
  • Building strong relationships and forming strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across the Managed Services landscape, including: clients, Internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Supplying guidance on complex build items/defects/issues to other team members
  • Providing direct oversight of key Managed Services accounts
  • Accountable for managing client escalations, ensuring that they are swiftly dealt with
  • Proactively looking for upsell/cross-sell opportunities and leads the “what next?” discussions within existing client base
  • Leading presales discussions and commercial negotiations for the Managed Services function
  • Responsibility for the department budget and tracking against forecast
  • Able to perform health-checks within unfamiliar applications to drive opportunity identification


What you'll need to succeed:


For this particular role we are looking for a candidate with:


  • Familiarity with NetSuite and other software vendors to assist with cross-selling into existing client base
  • Experience in Managed Services or similar roles
  • Experience in customer success or account management in a consultancy or technology implementation domain
  • Experience formulating relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple, easy to understand, manner
