About the role

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this role is responsible for growing the revenue and profitability of hardware and support services sales for Tritium in the region. This role will lead a team of sales professionals and will individually contribute to pursuing and securing strategic customer accounts, establishing long-term commercial partnerships to provide EV charging hardware and support services. We are open to where in UK / Europe this role is based.


Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Working closely with the Chief Sales Officer to develop sales strategies, and deliver compounding annual growth in Orders, Revenue, Margin and Cash.
  • Analyze and deeply understand key market segments in Europe and UK, anticipating solutions and insights to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals and individually contribute to identifying business opportunities with prospective customers and successfully position Tritium to secure hardware and support services revenue, potentially including new markets in Europe and UK.
  • In accordance with Tritium’s account management policies and procedures, maintain continuous engagement with customers to identify and secure opportunities for business growth.
  • Compile and accurately manage a pipeline of opportunities in Tritium’s CRM tool. Ensure the Europe & UK sales team maintain continuous compliance with CRM reporting requirements.
  • In conjunction with Tritium’s Bids & Proposals function, proactively drive all bid activity within Europe and UK, including negotiations and contract execution.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market planning and resulting account plans for Europe and UK.
  • Contribute to the compilation of quarterly / annual board reports for the region.
  • Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and training of all new sales staff for the region.
  • Monitoring and identifying opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies to influence sales training programs for internal sales staff and reseller partners.
  • Participate in trade shows and networking events to build Tritium’s brand reputation, identify appropriate industry contacts, and develop key customer relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing documentation and sales collateral to promote new business.
  • Work in accordance with all Tritium policies and procedures under the direction of the Chief Sales Officer to ensure that all sales activities are performed in an effective, professional, and timely manner.
  • Liaise with all customers in a professional and courteous manner with a view to improving Tritium's reputation within the industry and increasing business opportunities.
  • Deliver annual Sales Target and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Work as a collaborative team member by assisting other areas of the business when required or as directed by the Chief Sales Officer.


About you


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales management, or entrepreneurial studies.
  • 10 years of work experience in sales, business development, account management and/or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record in solution selling to achieve sales targets and growing business revenue across a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
  • Proven track record in managing, inspiring and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve Europe & UK regional objectives and KPIs.
  • Ideal: experience with eMobility, electric vehicles and/or electric vehicle charging and fuel and convenience market
