Location: Trowbridge, 4 days at home with 1 day in the office

The role:

With significant growth potential in the Defence & Aerospace sectors, the company is offering an exciting opportunity to join their sales team focusing on these markets. They are seeking a strategic business development leader to take on the role of Defence Sector Lead and drive new business in these key areas.


The successful candidate will come with a strong Defence network of contacts (Tier 1-3 and MOD).


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, target and deliver sales.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle actively and professionally from lead generation and lead management to prospecting, arranging appointments, preparing compelling & professional proposals and presentations, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities.
  • To provide timely responses and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
  • Thoroughly research, develop, and share market knowledge of the D&A sector
  • To build the Company's profile within the Defence & Aerospace sector.
  • Supporting the current Sales Account Manager where sector experience is needed


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development within the defence/aerospace sectors.
  • A strong network in the industry, with proven ability to build and nurture key relationships.
  • Expertise in identifying new market opportunities and crafting successful strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
