We´re on the search for a motivated, ambitious and creative Business Development Representative in the UK ready to join our Sales Team based in Skerries and in the UK.


You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, conducting market research, and building relationships with potential clients assisting the director of growth UK building a portfolio across all cities in the UK and get knowledge of Alkimii across the hospitality sector in the UK.


It will suit someone who thrives at events, enjoys interacting with people, and excels in building relationships.

What will you be doing?


A day in the life of a Business Development Representative is an exciting one. You’ll be at the forefront of our market research efforts in the UK, uncovering new business prospects and driving growth on an ever-expanding scale-up with your ideas and business development experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Monitor and evaluate market trends and competition, discovering opportunities and potential threats to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business pipelines through outbound opportunities and manage inbound leads that stem from outbound efforts.
  • Nurture early-stage opportunities. Cultivate early-stage opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong connections with strategic partners.
  • Engage in negotiations, close high-value deals, and participate in networking events to raise our company's profile.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet the organisation’s growth goals.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and maintain a solid rapport with current and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Public Representation: Represent our company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Presentations: Create and deliver presentations to highlight our solutions and value propositions to diverse audiences.


As part of the Growth Team you will work to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving our business goals. You’ll also engage in research and strategic planning behind your outreach efforts, including gathering information through LinkedIn and other platforms.


All in all, you’ll be a busy bee. But don’t worry, there’s always time to have fun with your colleagues while doing your best


You will be instrumental in getting our name out there, building a strong portfolio, and ensuring continuous engagement with potential clients. Your role will involve deciding the best contact approaches, sending sequence emails, and maintaining meticulous records of conversations to facilitate follow-ups.


We expect you to have:

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop sales skills.


Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Experience in SaaS and hospitality.
