We're seeking a Membership Sales Manager to support the development of a professional bodies membership. The successful candidate will drive membership numbers by bringing on new large organisational members, developing relationships with new business leads.


The role manages the strategy of acquiring new members, enhancing a pipeline of new business targets through outreach, events and networking. The successful candidate will create suitable value propositions, negotiate agreements with companies and bring on large membership subscriptions.


Our client is a not-for-profit professional body that represents its members in the UK and has recently acquired a global membership institute, which the successful candidate will also be responsible for (forming a membership growth strategy, aligning other commercial revenue opportunities).


We are looking for someone with business development experience, driven by building relationships and taking a strategic approach to sales, networking and using the CRM efficiently to develop new business pipelines. There will be a lot of cross-collaboration with other teams, especially marketing, who will assist with lead generation. The role does focus more on new business but there is also a great opportunity for long-term growth in the role and organisation.
