Area Sales Manager

Our client is hiring for an Area Sales Manager in the EWI sector.
The main purpose of this role is to achieve all sales targets and objectives agreed with the National Sales Manager and to ensure the company has an active presence on all large projects within the territory and to develop and build relationships with Design Practices and Principal Contractors.
Applicants must be able to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels and have a ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible approach to winning business and achieving sales. The successful person should be a well-presented team player with a professional attitude.
Applicants ideally should be based in the North with easy access to the M62 corridor although this can be flexible. They must also be able to work away from home when required.
We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated person with a positive outlook and attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Grow Sales by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Principal Contractors, and Specialist Applicators.
- Liaise with Specifiers and Distributors in the assigned geographical area to achieve Budgets and Targets.
- Identify target projects in the territory and maximize the potential in each opportunity utilizing the full portfolio of products.
- Drive lead and sales enquiry generation through jobsite visits, Contractor engagement, Applicator network, Cold Calls, and specification meetings.
- Develop a Key Account Plan for Major Customers and the assigned territory and meet agreed
- Targets and to realize the full opportunity with each account.
- Update the CRM System on a daily basis and maintain all project and customer records accurately.
