What will I be doing as Hotel Administrator?

As the Hotel Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel by providing high-level administrative support. You will work closely with the Hotel Manager and collaborate with various departments, including Sales & Marketing, Food and Beverage, and Human Resources. Your diverse responsibilities will contribute to operational efficiency and support the hotel's strategic goals.

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Hotel Manager, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments such as Sales & Marketing, Food and Beverage, and Human Resources to align with hotel operations and objectives.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Event Management: Assist in organising and coordinating hotel events, meetings, and functions, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.
  • Customer Relations: Address guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service.
  • Inventory and Resource Management: Oversee inventory and conduct stock takes of office supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability and maintenance to support smooth office operations.
  • Project Assistance: Support various projects and initiatives as directed by the Hotel Manager, contributing to the hotel's ongoing development and success.


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
