The Role:
As a Guest Relation/Receptionist you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for our guests. Your tasks as Guest Relation/Receptionist will include but will not be limited to:
Creating a warm, welcoming, and lasting impression for our guests.
Providing a genuine, attentive, and friendly service to our guests in order to reflect the Tajness.
To answer any questions or queries regarding check in/check out times, room availability, hotel services etc.
Ensure the Front Office operating system (Opera) is updated with any guest centric information.
Be empowered to make decisions that will enhance the guest experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
Anticipates guests needs and provide them with a personalised, crafted experience.
To be an ambassador for Taj as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
The requirements:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge & experience:
Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality to converse with guests.
Attention to detail and a positive attitude to learn.
Hospitality or hotel background highly desirable
Experience using Opera or similar Front Office operating system (an advantage).
Know how to deliver exceptional guest service and how never to say No.
