Department
The Transition Manager is a mid-level member of the management team, with specific accountability of protecting operational and customer service through business readiness, and service gatekeeping. They are a day-to-day lead for the delivery of services being transitioned to a live environment
The role
We’re looking for a Transition Manager to join our team
Planning and Managing service changes efficiently and effectively, whilst managing risks related to new, changed, or retired services.
Excellent stakeholder skills internally to ensure service transition to meet our customer needs and requirements.
Ensuring alignment to and enhancement of quality and standards, include overall department performance measurement, internal customer engagement and feedback, driving CSIP activities
Actively contributing to the overall functional strategy and take shared responsibility for all aspects of the Transition Management activities that provide assurance of Build to meet operational outcomes
Monitors the performance of technology services
Ensure that processes and practices are align across the teams
We’re looking for:
- Able to build working relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate relevant information clearly.
- Understand the basic principles of project management, including setting milestones, dependencies and planning resources
- Able to use word, powerpoint, and Excel to enable to produce presentations in a corporate way
- Leads and manages the creation of transition impact assessment standards that meets the requirements of the business. Initiates and leads business situation analysis where there is extensive ambiguity, complexity and potentially significant organisational impacts
Interpersonal
Understands that technical knowledge needs to be kept up to date and takes own steps towards increasing technical knowledge.
- Has an awareness of known risk exposures while performing services in line with the organisation's risk management strategy?
- Applies regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and reporting in own role and behaves in a way that complies with regulation.
