The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to drive company growth especially in new markets. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, exploring new markets, and working closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.


Salary: c£40K + Bonus + Other Benefits


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research via sales outreach to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships. As these will mainly be new markets, we need to be able to analyse objectively so that we adapt our offering to suit customer needs.


  • Lead Generation & Sales:

Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, telesales, and digital marketing. We believe a lot of this work should be carried out using Linkedin Sales Navigator, experience with this is of benefit to us.

Develop and execute sales strategies to convert leads into clients.

Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.


  • Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.

Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored solutions.


  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

Develop and implement business development strategies that align with company goals.

Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as necessary.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in UV, IR or an industry involving production but this is not essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful business strategies.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and managing Sales Funnels.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and business development principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex business problems.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Linkedin and other relevant digital platforms.


Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
