A fantastic opportunity for a skilled Production Planning specialist to join a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient production operations for an exciting drinks company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing detailed production plans that maximise machine capacity and production efficiency. Key duties include creating comprehensive schedules, coordinating packaging and procurement activities, and managing inventory to support production needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Production Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop production plans based on stock levels, orders, and forecasts.
  • Create detailed weekly production schedules and rough plans for weeks 2-4.
  • Optimise machine capacity and production efficiency.
  • Liaise with the Production Supervisor to confirm actual production plans.
  • Adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand, equipment, or resource availability.


Packaging and Procurement:

  • Manage stock levels and packaging procurement to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure flexibility for unexpected orders or operational changes.
  • Escalate supply issues to the Production Manager as needed.


Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work with the SBP (Production) to enhance planning tools.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales teams to align schedules with business goals.
  • Ensure smooth communication across operations, production, and quality teams.


Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Optimise stock levels to improve cash flow and minimise holding costs.


This role is essential in driving operational efficiency, ensuring smooth production processes, and contributing to overall business success.


This role is based in London and at the production facility 5 days a week.
