As a Network Security Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and growing the network security proposition through being a subject matter expert and supporting the wider security team. You will have regular customer facing opportunities and manage vendors and distributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive net new business and identify upgrade & cross-sell opportunities.
  • Be a face-to-face sales specialist and subject matter expert for customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to grow key customer relationships in network security.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Network Security vendors and confidently scope projects.
  • Identify whitespace within accounts and provide support to sales teams.
  • Work with marketing to create bespoke campaigns as a business enabler.
  • Help manage the relationship between customer, Bytes, and vendors.
  • Manage on-site vendor days and work closely with in-house teams.
  • Provide new starter training and maintain all portals.
  • Maintain forecast and pipeline opportunities on CRM.
  • Attend regular reviews to achieve objectives.
  • Identify new campaigns and innovative technology/services.
  • Have a clear understanding of support, delivery, and managed service options.
  • Run monthly sales reports and ensure SLA's are met.


You will need:

  • Minimum 4 years of IT sales experience in reseller or distributor role.
  • Knowledge of selling IT security solutions and network security sales.
  • Customer-facing experience is a must.
  • Check Point and Palo Alto Sales Accreditations are a nice to have or other Network Security sales accreditations.
  • Vendor development management experience.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Team player with outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Loyal, motivated, proactive, and reactive.
