Job DescriptionMonday to Friday, part time (25 hours minimum)We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a wonderful team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is central to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of their weekly employee payroll and related financial transactions.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll regulations, demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information, and possess strong analytical/communication skills.What’s in it for you? * Flexible hours * Excellent work life balance * Weekly PayMust Have’s * Previous experience in payroll administration, ideally within a multi-system environment. * Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Fourth and accounting systems like Xero. * Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, and statutory payments. * Comfortable working with digital tools to manage data and generate reports. * Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. * Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.So what will you be doing? * Manage and respond to payroll-related communications via the Payroll Inbox, ensuring timely and professional handling of queries, updates, and requests. * Post and reconcile payroll journals in Xero, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end reporting processes. * Operate and maintain payroll records using the designated payroll system, ensuring data is up-to-date, compliant, and securely stored. * Liaise with the external payroll bureau to manage and resolve technical or processing queries, ensuring effective coordination and timely payroll delivery. * Liaise with internal teams and employees to address payroll-related questions, clarify employee data, and support the resolution of any discrepancies or concerns. * Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of payroll data, adhering to data protection regulations and internal policies at all times.For further information and to be considered for this position, please apply with your CV and a short cover letter, for the attention of Liv.We like to speak to every application, but due to the current climate this is not always possible.
