This is an excellent opportunity for a Lean Practitioner Production Engineer to join a well-known, highly successful manufacturer on permanent basis.

As Production Engineer you will be joining an existing team to support and innovate the pump assembly area, achieve improvements and volume growth. On a day-to-day basis you will be working on the transitioning of the pump assembly area to an agile assemblysystem and set the new standard for product assembly cells.

Assisting in reporting and solving of production problems and specifying and justifying new processes are also key.

Main duties:

- Drive continuous improvement on pump projects.
- Design and arrange supply of jigs & fixtures and manufacture of assembly aids & checking equipment.
- Optimise productivity of the Pump assembly process

Experience and key skills:

- Lean Practitioner
- 2D & 3D CAD
- Participating and leading Continuous Improvement workshops

Please note, this role is on fully site in Cornwall.
