**JOB - Test Development Engineer**
**LOCATION - Cornwall**
**TERM - Permanent**
**SALARY - 28,000 - 35,000 per annum dependent on experience**
My Client is a world-leading manufacturer of high quality sound equipment and they looking to expand their Engineering Team.
**The Test Development Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Knowledge of a software language (Visual Basic Scripts, JavaScript, Python, C, C++, C# etc)
- Qualified with a relevant Engineering, Computer Science or Scientific Degree/ HND or HNC Qualification
- Experience reading and understanding circuit schematics
- The ability to work well alone as well as part of team
- Excellent communication skills

**The Test Development Engineer role will involve**:

- To develop appropriate software and test programs appropriate to the test systems used and Audio products being manufactured.
- To work with R&D on New Product Introduction
- To write documentation for testing and programming of our products
- Using data from current processes to develop improved systems and testing aimed at improving product quality.
- To undergo training to keep skills current and up to date, to provide training to peers in areas of expertise.
- Maintain existing test equipment.
