Our client is looking for Recruitment Coordinator for a 3-4 month contract
**_The role_**
Working as part of a team, the Recruitment Coordinator role ensures the effective facilitation and coordination of recruitment processes on behalf of the force, ensuring applicants and management receive a timely and efficient service and that proceduresare monitored to ensure fairness.
Reporting into the Recruitment Team Leader responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the recruitment process from advert to appointment
- Reviewing submitted recruitment request paperwork, including adverts and interview questions and providing line managers with support
- Setting up and maintaining spreadsheets and systems in order to monitor the progress of applicants
- Validating selection criteria at shortlisting and interview stage, ensuring fairness and equality
- Reviewing all associated letters, paperwork, references and vetting, highlighting any risks and escalating as per policy
- Integrating positive action into all recruitment activity through liaison with the ED&I Team
- Providing, advice, guidance and support to line managers in relation to policies and procedures
- Attending careers fairs, recruitment events and other internal and external meetings as a representative of the organisation
- Maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensuring a level of professional ability sufficient to ensure provision of a top-quality and consistent recruitment activity
**_The person_**
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (ideally)
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy environment
- Previous experience working in a recruitment / HR capacity
- Experience of working in a confidential environment
- Experience of working within a customer focused function
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight, competing deadlines
- High levels of interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills
