We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a leading manufacturing company on a 12-month contract.
**The role**
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Working alongside HR colleagues to support the review and roll out of policies/procedures including making recommendations for improvement whilst ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Working alongside colleagues in the business to support the recommendation of cost-effective training to departmental managers as well as co-ordinating training activities
- Working alongside departmental managers to support the co-ordination of training plans that develop core competencies and also assisting in the booking of training
- Guiding and advising the business around the recruitment process. Conducting interviews and assessments where appropriate
- Supporting employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievances, sickness) including the taking of minutes
- Conducting Company inductions alongside the HR Assistant, for new employees
- Providing advice on a full range of human resource issues, within capability, including, but not limited to recruitment and selection; terms and conditions of employment; benchmarking; discipline and grievance; absence
management; harassment and bullying; employee relations; basic employment law; company policy and best practice
**Requirements**:
- Associate member of CIPD or progressing to membership, either through qualification or through proven experience
- Educated to GCSE level, with grade C or above in Maths and English
- Significant experience at similar level, ideally in a similar organisation
**Further Information**:
- The role requires site attendance 5 days per week.
- Hours are 08.00 - 16:30 Mon - Thurs with ½ hr unpaid lunch, 08:00 - 13:00 Fri (37 hours). Flexibility can be considered.
- Flexibility including travel to work at our Bath site occasionally will be required.

**Package**:
- Salary between £30,000-35,000 per annum (pro rata to fixed term)
