Administration and Sales Assistant

Promech Farm Distribution is an independent, family run business based in Devon. With over 30 years experience in the farming industry, we design, manufacture and source a range of agriculture and gardening equipment, supplying high quality products to the UK market. Our business is growing fast so we are now looking to expand our team.
**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Make and send invoices using Xero as well as sending out statements to customers when requested.
- Receive, process and manage customer orders, queries and information requests.
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts as well as seeking out new ones.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for the company directors.
- Organise and coordinate office activities to support daily operations.
- Provide administrative support for various projects as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an administrative, clerical or sales role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Xero is highly desirable.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail.
- Able to use Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Friendly, reliable and confident personality.
**Skills**
- To be proactive, resourceful and to use own initiative.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and able to remain calm when under pressure.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.26 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
