**Business Development Manager**

Business Development Manager / Sales / Software Company / Permanent / West Midlands

My client, a well established but still rapidly growing software company is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join the team.

The Business Development Manager will become a key member of the sales team, responsible for the sale of Products & Services to new and existing clients, helping to continue the teams sustained period of sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Achieve annual sales target liaising with relevant departments.
- Lead online and face to face sales calls delivering software demonstrations and proposals
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team in order to deliver sales to generate target revenues on campaigns.
- Create new leads and relationship with key established and new customers.
- Maintain, develop and engage with contacts on social media platforms (LinkedIn) and suggest improvements for online content.
- Be involved in the sales cycle of a product.

**Key Experience and Knowledge required**:

- Knowledge of sales process and strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience delivering attractive presentations
- Exceptional communication levels across social media platforms
- Comfortable leasing with people (customers, managers, head of department)
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Well presented, understands importance of software and business, presentable, confident and being eager to learn
- Full clean driving licence

On target earnings are expected to be £40,000 - £50,000 with an uncapped commission package and base salary of £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on skills & experience. Included are also a company laptop, mobile phone and company car.
