**Membership Manager - Luxury Private Members Club**

The Club by Bamford is a new private members club, due to open early next year, set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside at the Daylesford Farm.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Membership Manager** to join the management team to help build the business for the future of health and fitness.

**Full time contract, based on 40 hours per week, very competative salary plus commission.**

**Responsibilities**

Reporting directly into the Director of Wellness you will support in the opening of the Club and day-to-day member recruitment and retention. With one direct report your pivotal responsibilities will be:

- To achieve or exceed individual sales goals and renewals by pre-planning with strategic outreach, in-club lead generation and securing member referrals.
- Maintain a constant presence in the Club, ensuring an outstanding member experience is always delivered.
- Welcoming all new members where possible and to provide support to potential and current members
- Member inductions with new and prospective members
- To be an ambassador of The Club and be knowledgeable of all services and facilities, ensuring the Membership Assistant and Front of House are fully trained.
- Responsible for generating leads, touring prospective members, and closing sales.
- Keep abreast of key competitors and trends to compare facilities and offerings.
- Have the ability and confidence to build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order to build a strong referral base and retain members.
- Support in the planning and hosting of Club events and workshops for lead generation
- Promote other wellbeing services in collaboration with the Bamford Wellness Spa (massage, meditation, Pilates, and yoga).
- Assess department revenue & budgets and complete monthly revenue/commission reports. Review and report to Director of Wellness.
- Create and implement sales strategies with direction from the Head of Membership and Wellness Director.
- To drive and maintain systems/membership database for dealing with initial sales enquiries and/or member visits.
- To be responsible for the administration of membership paperwork and to ensure that it is processed accordingly.
- Gather member feedback and collate feedback report on a daily basis.

**About you**
- 2-3 years Membership/Sales experience in a luxury Leisure/Hospitality environment
- Experience of building and delivering successful Membership plans
- Experience in networking and brokering of new relationships is essential
- Have commercial drive and enthusiasm to find a way to hit targets.
- You’ll need to show excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a passion to deliver a first-class service to our members.
- Results driven and confident communicator
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Good analytical skills and confident in excel
- The ability to think outside the box and be a self-starter is essential for this role.
- An understanding of the leisure, fitness and hospitality industry with a love of health and wellbeing
- Flexible and being willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable).
