**Team Leader - Leisure Centre**

As well as carrying out the above tasks we would be looking for someone who is happy to go through a Lifeguard qualification due to an onsite swimming pool.

**Duties**:

- You will ensure the highest standard of customer care & service delivery is achieved within the centre dealing with complaints and issues brought to you in an appropriate way.
- Carry out lifeguarding duties in line with centre and national standards as part of your daily shift duties.
- Carry out any training required.
- Assist the Sports Centre Manager in the management of the centre across shifts to ensure the centre is always operational.
- Assist the Sports Centre Manager in a safe way that ensures all customers and staff are able to use the centre with mínimal risk to their Health & Safety.
- Lead by example setting standards for visiting zero-hour lifeguard staff.
- You may be asked to assist in delivery of Centre Swimming Lessons as required.
- You will be competent in membership and administration.

**What we would like you to have**:

- Ideally a Level 2 swimming qualification or happy to work towards it.
- Experience within the Leisure industry.
- Be in possession or happy to work towards gaining an RLSS NPLQ qualification.
- An interest in sport and the Leisure industry.
- Competent swimmer
- Ideally Level 2 gym instructor qualification or working towards but not essential.
