Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Data Manager to join a financial company based in Basingstoke. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Data Manager:
- Reporting daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports to be created, checked, and submitted to relevant parties
- Ensure accurate completion of reports for each client
- Accurate analysis and submission of client reports
- Ensure transactions are checked, recorded and are the correct amount
- New ATM's are to be integrated into all relevant reports on time
- Efficient methods of creating and maintaining reports
- Designing and preparing reports, daily weekly, monthly reports and queries for management and clients
- Create complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted from SQL databases. For example; writing complex queries and extract data from SQL to write reports
- Train colleagues how to input and extract data
- Improve data flow mechanisms for current cash and data analytics
- New reports will need approval, especially when clients are requesting additional reports
- Identify trends and patterns in the data, and identify anomalies in the reports
- Train, develop and support the data team
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Data Manager
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Database and PowerBI
- Experience of scripting languages, ideally used PowerShell, Windows command-line or bash
- Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), object-oriented database management systems (OODBMS) and XML database management system
- Confident in all Microsoft Office packages, Azure Cloud, SSRS, SSIS and understanding of VBA
- Experience leading a team and has a good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written and verbally

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Salary is between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
