**EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER** **Location: - Bolton** **Salary: - £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience** **We are taking part in the national 4-Day Working Week - 3-day weekend, EVERY weekend** **Job Purpose** To provide leadership and direction to the ER Team to ensure they support both the internal customer (HR) and the wider business effectively to achieve divisional/department goals and objectives. To be the centre of excellence for all employee relations enquiries ensuring the business operates within the appropriate legal jurisdictions. To act as “Gatekeeper” for all people policies ensuring these are written and implemented in the spirit of the ACAS Code of Practice. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:** **- Manage complex ER cases in partnership with HRBP’s and line managers, investigating and attending complex hearings as required.** **- Ensures individual cases are supported with the correct documentation that is clear and reflects the values of the business.** **- Implements and manages an ER Case Management System which tracks and monitors individual cases by manager, HRBP, timeline, reason and outcome to ensure the business manages each case appropriately through to resolution.** **- Produces monthly MI on all ER cases sharing learning outcomes and making recommendations to improve key metrics i.e. reducing length of time of suspensions.** **- Design and deliver People Management training programmes for existing and new managers on the following; Discipline and Grievance, Managing Performance, Managing Attendance, Whistleblowing** **- Develops and reviews all HR policies to ensure they meet best practice and legislative requirements. - Utilising expert knowledge to add value to the business through decision making and judgement on all ER matters.** **- Manages the effective distribution of volume transactional activity with HR Advisers, ensuring workload is balanced and aligned to capability and skill level. ** **- Prepares clear communication and associated documentation for individual and group consultation processes, including redundancy, redeployment. Standard responsibilities** **- There are a number of standard duties and responsibilities that all employees, irrespective of their role and level of seniority are expected to be familiar with and adhere to;** **- Participates in an annual performance review programme** **- Works, at all times, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the National Fostering Agency Group and statutory regulations applicable to the Group.** **- Observes, at all times, strict rules of confidentiality appropriate to the post.** **- To comply at all times with the requirements of Health and Safety Regulations to ensure their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues.** **About the Group** Outcomes First Group exists to make sure vulnerable young people get the opportunities they need, whether that involves providing them with specialist education and residential care in which they can thrive.
