**Main Purpose**

Glen Dimplex Group is a world leader in intelligent electric heating and renewable energy solutions, as well as holding significant global market positions in domestic appliances, cooling, and ventilation. We are currently seeking a skilled administrator to join our training team.

The role will provide administrative support to the training team as the requirement for training increases and the way we deliver training changes and develops. The work will involve our training Academy Totara, ensuring this is accurate and current, and working closely with the training team and all areas of the GDHV business.

**Accountabilities**
- Support the Product Training Manager in the execution of actions such as gathering of content / training material on new products via Stage & Gate and ensuring all content / training material required for legacy products is available on the Product Support Portal actioning any issues reported as being incorrect or missing ensuring accurate information is available to customers and staff.
- Provide the necessary activity in the support of CPD’s delivered via the Academy.
- Looking after tenancies, audiences, and the installer partner program on the Academy. Ensuring changes are adequately communicated and where necessary enabling further training to be developed and planned.
- Working together with the various UK and European sites to gather the required employee data to ensure that Totara is current and up to date, to lead and motivate the various GDHV group teams to submit regular data to ensure our employee database is kept accurate.
- Act as the main point of contact for all aspects of employee database management in relation to Totara, ensuring compliance with privacy and GDPR regulations.
- Maintaining the correct access levels and via regular interaction with colleagues and Heads of Department, provide information and support to enable content to be built and correctly located on the Academy to ensure visibility to everyone needing the training. Ensure all training is recorded and saved within Totara for new starters and refresher training. Support and develop where necessary Learning plans, programmes, and certification courses, reporting monthly.
- Support H&S development on Totara with colleagues from all areas of the business.
- Utilise the Academy to promote and provide on-boarding and ensure off boarding process is followed and is accurate.
- Deliver non-product related training to colleagues as required and participate in train the trainer programme.
- Assist with the production of training material, content, videos, and literature as needed.
- Developing and promotion of courses on the Academy.
- Engage with other site / group trainers, the training team to review what training material they are using and align our current offerings. we need uniformity on what we deliver.
- Capturing the training requirements and working with trainers to schedule the trainers. Ensure that training feedback is gathered from delegates and participants, logged and shared with the training provider in the spirit of continuous improvement. Best possible plan in place when we need to deliver F2F training.
- Provide feedback to and liaise with the line manager to ensure issues are identified early, actions taken, and lessons learned through the continual improvement processes.
- Provide regular monthly update reports to the GDHV managers & HODS on how much their direct reports are interacting with Totara.
- Adhere to GDHV Health & Safety Policies. Ensure all departmental tasks and functions are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with the company Health and Safety policies, procedures, and management system.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
**ESSENTIAL**
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, utilising all mediums to communicate effectively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritising workload and focusing on the scheduled requirements.
- First rate interpersonal skills, and the skills to develop intergroup team building.
- Capability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.

**DESIRABLE**
- Knowledge and experience of using Totara or similar LMS based system.
- Knowledge of required training processes and content required.
- Experience working closely with inter-group departments.
- Experience in data gathering.
- Previous training experience.

**Travel**
This position s office based at GDHV Hedge End. There may be occasions when travel within the UK will be a requirement.
