The birthplace of the Paralympic Games, we’ve been serving patients with spinal cord injury since 1944 creating a different philosophy and approach to the management of spinal cord injuries. We lead the way in the treatment and care of those with SCIs and are proud to have established an international reputation for the quality of our services. We are proud to have the only dedicated unit for children and young people (CYP) with an SCI in the UK.

The NSIC has an exciting opportunity within its Education team for an experienced administrator.

The post holder will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to the NSIC Education Team. The post requires an individual who has excellent organisation, administration and communication skills, as well as a full range of secretarial skills. This is an important role, which will provide excellent opportunities for career and personal development.
- To arrange meetings and events, on or off site, co-ordinating diaries of the Education Team with both internal and external colleagues, in a timely manner to maximise attendance.
- To attend meetings to record minutes, notes and actions. This includes the compilation of agendas and action logs in support of meetings.
- To maintain administrative systems, processes and functions which support the requirements of the Education Team.
- Gather relevant data sets and information, as directed.
- Prepare and complete routine and ad-hoc reports when required
- To maintain shared electronic filing systems, ensuring compatibility of files and version control. Ensuring confidentiality of stored documentation in line with trust policies.
