**Personal Assistant: One 2 One Support**

Location: Accrington area | Manual Driving Licence Required

**Contract Hours: 18.00 Per Week**

We are seeking a calm, softly spoken individual with a practical mindset and strong common sense to support a bright and articulate man in his 30s. He has a significant physical disability and uses a wheelchair, so compassion, patience, and understanding are essential qualities for this role.

**As a key member, you will**:

- Promote independence and build confidence
- Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability
- Assist with daily activities and accompany on adventure outings
- Provide support to attend essential medical appointments

**This is a fantastic opportunity for mothers, offering a flexible schedule that aligns around nursery and school hours, enabling you to strike a good balance between work and family life.**
- Schedules and Times to Choose From:_

**Schedule 1 - 18 Hours P/W**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM To 15:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 14:00 PM To 20:00 PM (Weekly)

**Schedule 2 - 18 Hours P/W**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 12:00 PM to 20:00 PM (Twice Monthly)

**The employer is dedicated to providing flexibility with gentle time adjustments, all while ensuring the service user’s needs are fully and effectively met.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Safely transport the service user in a specially adapted automatic vehicle
- Provide tailored care, including assistance with toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Carry out basic household tasks and run daily errands
- Plan and accompany the service user on outings based on his interests—such as visits to coffee shops, garden centres, shopping venues, attractions, seaside towns, and scenic drives

**What We‘re Looking For**:

- A calm, professional attitude and excellent organisational skills
- A clean UK driving licence and a genuine passion for driving
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by the employer)
- Reliability, dedication, and strong decision-making skills
