**Position Title: Personal Assistant: One-to-One Support**
Job Location: Accrington area | Manual Driving Licence Required
**Contract Hours: 18.00 Per Week**
We’re seeking a quietly spoken and calm person with a practical approach and common sense of a similar age to provide support to a bright, articulate, and cheerful lad in his 30s. He has a significant physical disability and uses a wheelchair, so compassion, care, and understanding are key qualities.
**As a key member, you will**:
- Promote independence and build confidence.
- Create a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability.
- Provide support with activities and adventure outings.
- Accommodate to attend essential medical appointments.
**This role is a perfect opportunity, ideal for mothers, due to its flexibility that aligns seamlessly with nursery and school schedules.**
- Schedules and Times to Choose From:_
**Schedule One - 18 Hours P/W**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM To 15:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 14:00 PM To 20:00 PM (Weekly)
**Schedule Two - 18 Hours P/W**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 12:00 PM to 20:00 PM (Twice Monthly)
**The employer is open to negotiating working hours, provided that the service users requirements are met.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Safely transport the service user in an adapted automatic vehicle.
- Deliver personalised care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Undertake basic household duties and assist with daily errands.
- Collaboratively plan daily outings tailored to the service user's choice, including visits to coffee shops, garden centres, shopping venues, attractions, seaside resorts, scenic drives, and necessary medical appointments.
**What You’ll Bring**:
- A calm, professional attitude with excellent organisational skills.
- A clean UK driving licence and passion for driving.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by the employer).
- Reliability, dedication, and common sense in decision-making.

**Working Environment**:

Pay: £12.50-£12.80 per hour
