**Personal Assistant/Carer Position - One 2 One Support**

Location: Accrington area, Driving Licence Required

**Are you a caring and considerate individual looking for a rewarding role?**

We are looking for a calm and quiet spoken person who is well balanced to assist a bright and polite chap in his 30s. He has a complex physical disability and relies on a wheelchair for his mobility needs.

This post requires 10 hours each week, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an option for an additional 3 hours to be worked on those days.

**Job Details: Flexible hours available, with 13-16 hours per week**
- Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:30 AM until 14:30 PM
- Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:30 AM until 15:00 PM
- Annual leave cover is also available.

An excellent occasion for mothers to manage their childcare commitments with work, aligning seamlessly around nursery and school hours, promoting a good balance between work and family life while offering a competitive hourly rate.

The duties will take place in a clean and safe property where the service user lives with his mother, while his main carer provides her help at different times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport the service user in his (automatic) adapted vehicle.
- Transport and accompany to infrequent appointments.
- Support with household tasks and everyday activities.
- Personal care includes toileting, bathing and dressing.
- Facilitate enjoyable daily outings of his choice, such as trips to coffee shops, home garden centres, retail centres, seaside walks, scenic drives, and running errands.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Clean UK Driving Licence.
- It is essential to be medically fit and safe to drive.
- Must demonstrate qualities such as professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisation skills, and practical decision-making.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.00-£12.15 per hour
