As well as working on big campaigns for superbrands such as the Planet Earth franchise, Top Gear and Doctor Who, the role also supports the digital marketing of some of the most innovative and talked about British comedy and drama. Providing our global partners and own marketing teams with the very best in social content for shows from the likes of Daisy May Cooper and Romesh Ranganathan.

As a Senior Digital Producer with BBC Studios, you’ll work within Studios Creative’s digital arm. Following business growth, we are now looking for an experienced, social-first Senior Digital Producer to join the team and lead on a range of projects, managing small hit-teams of creators.

Main Responsibilities
- Using their creative vision, social strategy and organization skills, the senior producer will develop, produce & deliver a slate of innovative, engaging digital content across all social platforms for both B2C and B2B audiences, with the express intention of growing reach and increasing engagement metrics.
- The role is responsible for the creative ideation, execution and delivery of assets across a range of channels. They must have a thorough understanding of digital and social platforms, being aware of changes and trends that will effect engagement and production.
- They will run a range of campaigns’ end-to-end production. From high profile, high-volume titles to smaller more compact campaigns where their social-native mindset will help shape strategy & deliverables.
- They will work closely with a range of other departments. Both within our own Creative department on campaigns to ensure a coherent editorial across all touch points, as well as stakeholders from production, marketing and customer engagement teams.
- They will be tasked with creating original content, shot & edited by our own team, as well as ideating using programme material shot by our partners in BBC Studios. Assets will range from organic social video (reels, TikTok, stories etc) filters, paid ads formats, EPK & promos.
- They will provide accurate scoping & budgeting of all projects worked on.
- There will be a variety of different stakeholders with both digital and non-digital backgrounds. An ability to explain and educate to sell in ideas will be a must.
- They will QC creative output of content makers: in-house staff and freelancers. They will help trouble-shooting creative challenges, and ensure delivery of assets that hit their creative brief and bring about engagement.
- They will lead project teams on an operational basis as well as editorial. They will manage, motivate and guide the personal development of permanent production staff as well as managing freelancers.
- They will work closely with the traffic manager to ensure the right freelance skills are employed where needed.
- They will report into Head of Digital Creative.

As a Senior Digital Producer, you are experienced in the production industry, specifically in television or media. You will be confident in generating multi-platform digital & social ideas for Global Brands in a range of formats - short form video, design, audio and written copy.

You will have a proven track record of end-to-end delivery of campaigns and social projects, from ideation & strategy through to delivery and compliance.

You will be confident producing assets for social media platforms and possess excellent editorial judgment and digital production skills.

With experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders, you thrive in leading a team that delivers results on time, and to budget.

Creativity is the lifeblood of your work, which you demonstrate via your impeccable creative writing, enabling you to capture the audience’s imagination and immerse them in our Brands.

Effective planning prioritizing, delegating and giving feedback to maintain effective performance are skills which you have developed through your leadership roles in production.

Your communication is effective and audience appropriate to establish rapport with people at all levels and persuade others to your viewpoint.

You adapt effectively to a variety of situations and possess the resilience and stamina to sustain effective performance under pressure. An understanding of BBC’s Editorial Guidelines is essential - protecting the brands and organization comes hand-in-hand with the promotions.
