Executive Producer

**What the Role Covers**:

- Full production process - pre-production, production and post-production
- Maintaining the production process flow
- Managing production budgets effectively
- Working to develop junior team members

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for drawing up cost estimates for projects;
- Understand and create cost estimates in line with industry standards:

- Understand GPC’s rate structure and production margin to inform cost estimates
- Use industry knowledge to evaluate costs from external suppliers
- Look for ways to reduce project costs without jeopardising quality
- Signing off cost estimates up to £10,000:

- Larger projects to be evaluated by Head of Production
- Work with junior staff to sign off cost estimates under £10,000
- Responsible for project budget tracking:

- Maintaining up-to-date budget tracking through budget sheets
- Understand how margin is calculated to inform project scope
- Draw up POs and liaise with finance team to ensure timely payment of suppliers
- Ensure supplier paperwork and contracts are in order
- Oversees final delivery of assets:

- Work with Client Service and Business Development team for production concepts
- Briefing editor in a clear and concise way to achieve best final outcome
- Work with editors to inform the final outcome of creative assets through the post-production process
- Liaise with client for revision of assets
- Offer innovative and valuable production insights and ideas
- Project management without intervention

- Manage projects independently, offering concise summaries to the Head of Production
- Advise Head of Production on status and critical concerns
- Action corrective measures for at-risk projects
- Strong sense of Quality Assurance

- Understanding and upholding the GPC quality benchmarks for content
- Managing the production flow
- Quality checking all assets before delivery to client
- Maintain quality process with production team and post-production team

*Experience required in:
*
- Managing the creation of video and social media asset development. From ideation through to delivery.
- Overseeing junior producers on projects, approval of iterations, QC and budget approval.
- The shoot production from pre - pro and post production.
- Game development cycles for NFT projects & Web3 based Metaverses (would be ideal)
- AGILE workflows to enable quick iterations and turnarounds of multiple assets.
- Planning roadmaps, creating and monitoring budgets for milestones during execution
- Virtual Reality Experience (not a must)
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a senior producer or executive producer
