Butler Rose is working with one of our growing clients in search for a Financial Reporting Analyst
The role is responsible for providing a wide range of financial information (reports, analysis, presentations etc) to the business, supporting the Senior Reporting Manager with understanding and delivering the growing business requirements for financial andnon-financial data. This role is also responsible for all Board level reporting and month end support to the Head of FP&A.
The role will report to the Senior Reporting Manager and will be part of an FP&A team that is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and finance systems.
**Duties**:

- Responsible for provision of timely & accurate corporate reporting monthly Board packs, daily and weekly company-level reporting
- Responsible for ad hoc corporate reporting and competitor analysis, including provision of data to Client owners
- Support Senior Reporting Manager with coordination of annual budget and quarterly forecasting inputs. Support for Internal and External audits queries, analysis
- Responsibility of Period End process including journals, SUN account reviews via Vision and Q&A reporting
- Supporting the development of finance reporting requirements new reports, changes to existing reports, queries
- To support the Finance Transformation Project actively involved with the scope, design, build and delivery of Hypersonix and SUN reports
- Support the Senior Reporting Manager with the core business planning tool (currently IBM Analyst), to build budget and forecast environments based on business requirements, as well as loading and checking all submissions
- To support with the regular review of all published finance reports across the various finance systems to ensure there are controls around expired and duplicated reports, and make
suggestions for enhancements to existing reports
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in the provision of management information and analysis
- Proven examples of working on own initiative
- Experience in working with various disciplines within a business, explaining financial data to non-finance professionals
- Report building in financial systems (e.g. General Ledger systems, BI tools, Access Databases and Excel)
- Analytical background & sound commercial understanding
- Record of suggesting/implementing improvements to financial processes
- Experience of working in a similar role, preferably within a multi-site business environment (FMCG)
