Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

**Summary of role**:We’re looking for an experienced, results driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering the digitalmarketing strategy in line with company values and objectives. This role will play an instrumental part in taking this already thriving company to the next level.
**Main duties and responsibilities are (but not limited to)**:
- Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including paid search, paid social, SEO and affiliates.
- Develop the digital marketing strategy in consultation with the business and marketing plan.
- Prioritise digital activities to boost business growth and generate marketing qualified leads for the sales team.
- Manage, analyse and measure the efficacy of all digital activities to increase paid customer acquisition and lead-to-sale conversion rates.
- Accountable for performance across digital acquisition channels.
- Prepare and help manage the digital marketing budget and monthly reports to the Finance Director.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all digital marketing campaigns, as well as providing the SMT and board with insight into marketing performance, digital marketing KPIs, ROI, web traffic and competitor/customer analytics.
- Set up and constantly optimise PPC campaigns for all major search engines.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology, digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Design, implement and evaluate customer-centric, end-to-end user journeys across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Write digital ads for search engines that consistently convert.
- Manage the company website alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure it’s up to date and converting well.
- Account management of affiliate partnerships.
- Monitor user activity on the site and social channels producing reports using GoogleAnalytics and identifying ways to drive visitation and engagement.
- Implementation of customer and market research, analysis and solutions to identify new target areas, developing forward thinking initiatives for the future marketplace.
- Support the inbound direct sales and business support departments whilst managing the inbound lead funnel.
- Support the new business department with setting up alternative channels to generate revenue for the business.
- Organise and help to run webinars for our broker network to educate them on important product updates, system changes and any other additional information.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- CIM qualification or other relevant professional qualification preferred.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline preferable (marketing or advertising is desirable).
- Proven hands-on experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong track record of technical marketing skills, managing budgets and creating effective digital marketing campaigns that convert.
- Experienced in keyword research, bid management and data led ad testing.
- Proficient in statistical analysis.
- Experience/confident with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Have a background and experience in Financial Services/Fintech.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of numbers and data.
- Experience in the delivery and analysis of lead generation, PPC and paid campaigns.
- Expert knowledge of performance marketing channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint); CMS (Wordpress/Pyro preferred); GoogleAnalytics/AdWords; GotoWebinar, Adobe Suite, Hubspot and Salesforce.
- Self-starter who’s able to hit the ground running, work well under pressure and make a real difference to the marketing function.
