We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist who will lead and manage successful data migrations for our new clients. You will be joining an amazing team, who are naturally very helpful and friendly They will be keen to support you and to help our data engineering capability develop and grow.
- The role will have a key focus on data migration, however over time there is potential for this individual to help us plan for the next phase of our data engineering journey as our requirements in this area grow.

**More about the role**:
The Data Migration Specialist is a member of the Customer Success function and is considered the Subject Matter Expert and poin-of-contact for all data management activities with respect to myairops products and data.**/**
**Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Working with assigned customers to lead on data migration tasks, migrating customers’ data from existing 3rd party systems into the myairops platform
- Executing, and managing the data migration process to maximise efficiency and accuracy of the migration, whilst collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the data design, functionality, and processes are aligned
- Managing discussions with relevant Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to identify, define, and document the business requirements for the data migration
- Managing and refining of ETL pipelines for data input into products and central data sources and microservices
- Developing and executing the extraction and transformation scripts/processes/activities from the client’s existing systems
- Maintaining and managing data onboarding scripts and tools to allow the loading of customer data to environments.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience required**:
**Essential**:

- In-depth knowledge of MS SQL, T-SQL and ERD to understand how tables link together to make the data flow.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, utilising effective prioritising skills.
- Able to proactively manage and anticipate potential issues and risks.
- Able to demonstrate strong communication skills, to work effectively with all teams across the business, instilling confidence and trust in our data engineering capabilities.
- Experience working in both a Project and Customer focussed environment.
