**About the job**

We’re looking for a Sr Account Executive to help manage the relationship with the HMRC. As an account this is one of the largest within SAS and there are already fantastic SAS use cases delivering significant value. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new business through finding new use cases for SAS. In addition, the AE would manage HM Treasury and Revenue Scotland from a development perspective. Expected split of time between new business and wider account strategy / activity would be 75%/25%.

**As a Sr Account Executive Public, you will**
- Focus on the key white space areas within HMRC - these have been identified but will need widening by thorough desk research - SAS has great traction currently within HMRC.
- Arrange meetings with key new contacts to promote the business value and outcomes that SAS can deliver.
- Develop new propositions and use cases for HMRC to provide provocations.
- Develop a deep understanding of how HMRC works, their strategies and business goals to become a trusted advisor in data and analytics.
- Build enduring and mutually beneficial relationships at all levels within your customer, based upon driving business value and successful outcomes.
- Produce multi-year account plans and strategies in collaboration with the customer considering the value that SAS can deliver.
- Contribute to the account planning and strategy development.
- Grow partner relationships to enhance opportunities: Microsoft, Accenture & Deloitte.
- Develop relevant proactive proposals to present to key stakeholders.

**Required qualifications**
- Previous or current experience in selling complex solutions within the Government - HMRC is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully developing new business within strategic accounts.
- Expertise selling to senior business decision makers by aligning and reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s business priorities and strategic opportunities.
- Able to develop clear long-term account plans and strategies that inform and lead the wider SAS teams to deliver value to our customers and to use your resources in the most efficient manner.
