We are looking for collections agents to join our team, and as a steadily growing business there will be heaps of opportunity for you to grow and progress with us.

Working on a dialer system talking to customers who have fallen into arreres with the finance plan, you will have the power to help. Setting up payment plans and signposting to the necessary charities and organisations for further assistance. This role can be challanging but is also highly rewarding.

**Basic requirements**
- Aged 18 or above and have right to work within the UK
- English speaking and IT literate
- Credit report and DBS to be provided, we will reimburse this cost
- Must be able to come into Adderbury offices for 2 weeks of training, don't worry, we can help with travel expenses if you live more than 20 miles away.

**Experience and Skills Required**
- Previous collections experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to show compassion and empathy, demonstrate active listening skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
- Experience working within Financial Services or a regulated environment

**Main Duties**
- Manage and respond to customer queries including complex issues, providing a first contact resolution where possible via phone and/or any other digital methods
- Create a record of interaction with the customer on the customer account, ensuring details are accurate and in line with company policy and procedures
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers asking for an update on the status of their account
- Showing empathy and understanding, whilst remaining focused on the customer journey and experience.
- Demonstrating active listening skills

**Requirements of the Role**
- You must currently be residing within the UK (overseas applicants will be declined)
- Training will be office based so you must be located within reasonable distance or willing to travel to our Adderbury offices. We understand the cost of living crisis is affecting everyone right now and will help with travel expenses for any successful applicants that live 20 or more miles away.
- Aged 18 or above
- English speaking with good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate, with basic IT skills.
- Due to the nature of our contracts, a CRB check and credit check will be required as a condition of your employment with us.
