We are looking to recruit an Equipment and Adaptation Officer to join the Equipment, Adaptation and Sensory Impairment Service. Our community team comprises occupational therapists, equipment and adaptations officers, administration support staff and sensory rehabilitation officers. We work with people who have a physical and/or sensory disability helping them to keep safe and independent in their own homes.

Your role will be to promote and facilitate independence for service users and their carers within their own home, carrying out outcome focused needs led assessments.

You will be required to undertake the assessment and recommendation of minor and major adaptations and provision of specialist equipment.

We will provide in-house training for this post and offer regular supervision.

The hours are 37.5/week, a flexi time scheme is offered.
